Abstract

In recent years, Peru has shown a great deal of institutional fragility as a result of political confrontations, which has led to a certain politicization of justice and judicialization of politics, while generating legal insecurity that, in the long run, has repercussions on the economy and social development.
As a result of institutional fragility, critical voices have been raised about the validity of the rule of law in our country, the main point of debate and controversy being the proposal of a new Constitution through a Constituent Assembly.
In this regard, Lucas Ghersi, a young constitutional lawyer, gives us an interview to give his views on the validity or not of the rule of law in Peru, while commenting on possible solutions for institutional improvement.
