The main way to propagate pitahaya (Hylocereus undatus) is vegetatively, so the quality of the material used is important, as the rest of the production process depends on it. The objective of this research was to determine the effects of efficient microorganisms on rooting and vegetative development of pitahaya (Hylocereus undatus) cladodes. The evaluations were carried out in homogeneous experimental units, with 48 pitahaya cladodes of 30 cm, the study factors were the efficient microorganisms in doses of 25 ml/L, 50 ml/L and 75 ml/L. The results showed that the application of efficient microorganisms had a significant influence on shoot length, fresh weight and shoot dry weight, as well as on root length, fresh weight and root dry weight, increasing their values with the application of 75 ml/L of efficient microorganisms (T3).
