Beyond Technological Integration: Mediations, Inequalities, and New Agencies in Contemporary Academic Performance

The Peer-Reviewed Journal of Contemporary Education (RAEC) invites researchers, educators, graduate students, and professionals in the fields of educational sciences, social sciences, humanities, and related disciplines to submit manuscripts for the thematic issue entitled:

“Beyond Technological Integration: Mediations, Inequalities, and New Agencies in Contemporary Academic Performance”

Over the past decades, the incorporation of digital technologies into educational processes has been promoted as a means of improving access to knowledge, educational quality, and academic performance. However, contemporary transformations reveal that technology does not operate in a neutral or homogeneous manner; rather, it is mediated by social, economic, cultural, and political conditions that shape diverse educational experiences.

This special issue seeks to bring together original research, systematic reviews, theoretical studies, and innovative experiences that critically examine the relationships between technology, education, and academic performance from interdisciplinary and context-sensitive perspectives.

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and prepared in accordance with the journal’s editorial guidelines. All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
