Administrative and Customary Power in Ombala Yo Mbalundu: Dialogues and Divergences

With this exercise, we seek to describe the dialogues and divergences between administrative and customary power in Ombala Yo Mbalundu, a sociocultural and political organization with an Angolan customary matrix. Using the ethnographic method combined with various techniques, with emphasis on bibliography, fieldwork, participant observation, interviews and life history and the anthropological theory called structuralism by Claude Lévi-Strauss, it was possible to highlight that these powers dialogue deeply, despite being distinct in their essence or genesis and concluding that they are fundamental to the social, economic and political life of Ombala yo Mbalundu.
