Abstract

In a global context where technology has ceased to be a peripheral tool and has become the core of the educational experience, this edition is intended as a space for critical and scientific reflection. We are at a turning point where the convergence of technological advances and learning sciences is redefining not only what we learn, but fundamentally how, where, and why we learn at all stages of human development.
This issue explores the notion of the “digital ecosystem” as a living organism that requires precise orchestration between infrastructure, regulations, and teaching methods. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into this scenario is not presented here as a purely technical phenomenon, but as a disruptive force that challenges traditional epistemological frameworks. Through the research that makes up this issue, readers will find an in-depth analysis of how pedagogical transformation must precede technological adoption in order to ensure meaningful, inclusive, and ethical teaching processes.
