Influence of Burnout Syndrome on the Work Performance of Teachers of an Educational Institution

This research article called Influence of Burnout Syndrome on the Work Performance of secondary school teachers at the I.E. Padre Abad Parish, which aims to establish the link between Burnout syndrome and the work performance of secondary school teachers at the I.E. Parish “Father Abbot”. The article has a quantitative, basic level, and descriptive-correlational type approach, where the design of the correlational article is transversal, the population and sample is made up of 25 teachers, to whom the study instruments were carried out. such as the Burnout syndrome survey questionnaire and the job performance questionnaire which was validated and found to have reliability in Cronbach's alpha. To conclude the study, it was possible to establish that there is a low link between Burnout Syndrome and the work performance of secondary school teachers at the I.E. Parish “Father Abbot”. Consecutively using the research instruments, we have Spearman's rho = - 0.615, achieving an average negative reciprocity, consequently, if there is a contradictory relationship, an average of 0.001 < 0.05, so the correspondence is ratified.
